About Robby Bobby
Robby Bobby's story begins on the South Side of Chicago, where a lifelong passion for fishing first took root. From childhood days casting lines at Maple Lake in the Cook County Forest Preserves to chasing musky in Southern Wisconsin and competing in local bass tournaments, fishing has always been more than a hobby—it’s been a way of life.
A natural creator and lifelong entrepreneur at heart, Robby Bobby always dreamed big, with goals of one day competing on a national stage. In 2016, an unexpected workplace injury changed his path—but it didn’t change his drive. After a challenging recovery, he turned fully toward the one thing that had always grounded him: fishing.
What began as therapy became a life-long purpose.
Hand-tying bass jigs brought focus, creativity, and a renewed sense of direction. Hours on the water and at the tying bench sharpened both skill and vision, and from that dedication, Robby Bobby Fishing was born. Today, every jig represents patience, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of what serious anglers demand on the water.
Robby Bobby continues to push forward competitively and professionally. He will be competing in the 2026 IBN Team Tournament Trail along with other local tournament events, building momentum the same way he believes success is earned—locally first, then beyond. Through partnerships with local sponsors, appearances at sport shows, and tournament participation, Robby Bobby Fishing is growing a brand rooted in authenticity, perseverance, and performance.
